SMMS Library Mission Statements 23/24

The mission of the Stone Mountain MS Library Media Center (LMC) is to provide a program that is fully integrated into the school's curriculum and is central to the learning process.

This mission is accomplished by:
providing access to a variety of information representing a wide range of subjects and difficulty levels. representing the SMMS students and staff.
providing leadership, instruction, and consulting assistance in the design of learning strategies and the use of information and information technology.
promoting innovative media services through professional growth and continuous learning.

The Stone Mountain MS Media Center is here to foster our educational and instructional needs. We provide you with an abundance of resources, including print, non-print digital, periodicals, and other equipment to support your needs.

We encourage students, faculty, and staff to stop by the LMC for a visit, to utilize LMC resources for research purposes and other instructional needs.
