Welcome back to another new and exciting school year. I hope that the transition from summer vacation to registration, schedule changes, and car pools was not too traumatic for you. In any case, I know that I am happy to be back in the classroom and starting a new academic year.
My name is Donna Garrett and I will be teaching your child life science this year. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry, and a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction. Furthermore, I have experience teaching junior high students in the areas of physical, life, and earth science. Thus, your child should benefit from having me as their teacher this year.
Throughout the months to come, I will be communicating with you and your child via emails, phone calls, infinite campus, Microsoft Teams, and Verge. My office hours for additional questions, will be on Wednesdays. Please review over the "2020-21 Virtual Student Handbook" with your child and make sure it is kept in a safe place for future reference. I look forward to meeting you soon.
